BBC Electric Proms

Really love how this came out. I did storyboards for it sometime last month for Brand New School.

Mickey Dees

Here's a Mcdonalds spot I boarded last spring. Haven't seen this on TV yet... not sure where it's running.

NYC reloaded

I've had this drawing on my hard drive for a few months. I did the initial sketch in photoshop and did the final drawing in Manga Studio 4EX using a wacom tablet. One of these days I hope to get myself a cintiq. I imagine this work going quicker with the cintiq.

I wasn't sure I wanted to finish this drawing. Felt that it was missing something... In an alternate take I added another person in the foreground but it looked crowded so took that out. I guess this is it. I might add some extra M4 magazines on the ground around here...maybe another rifle resting against the roof edge.. maybe some rain effects... then color. Let's see how long that takes!

Been a fan since childhood. I'll round up some of my old drawings throughout the years of the Joes and post them.

Here's a quick color of "Kahr". I'm not much of a colorist but usually like to color some pieces when the mood strikes...

She's Holding a Kahr

Here's a little piece I did recently in Manga Studio Debut 4.0. The first image is my original Sketch done in photoshop. The second is a more refined sketch with a possible color direction also in photoshop. Third is my finished drawing in which I used Manga Studio Debut. I love the drawing tools in this program. nice and streamlined. nice workflow.

I might still go in and play with the background a bit but I'm happy with it right now...

Iron Man B/W

Finished The Iron Man Story a few weeks ago. Was a lot of fun. It helps to be an Iron Man Fan. I really love the armor design.

Workflow was the usual drill - photoshop/painter for layouts, inks done with Brush, nibs, with lots of cleanup in photoshop and Manga Studio. I'm very happy with the final results.
